Why don't we know it? Well, part of the conspiracy is that we are led to believe that the Bible is not true.
II Thessalonians 2:10 ...11, says, " ...because they received not the love of the truth ...And for this cause God shall send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie."
I was an adult, and had not read the Bible. I had finished college, where I felt all the knowledge in the world was at my disposal. What I didn't realize is that much of that knowledge should have been disposed of.
When I finally read the Bible, I had my doubts about to what extent it was true ...but after studying evolution in college, I saw how that theory couldn't be true. And yes, there are many religions ...all who believe in a Supreme Being, and we may wonder where truth lies (or better said, where it doesn't lie).
Yet, can it be that difficult to consider that good and evil exist together on our earth?
When I was in college, my roommate decided to get a fish tank. With little knowledge about it, he just went to the store and bought an assortment of fish. The fish began nibbling on each other, and the last one to survive was the Common Oscar. The Oscar seemed like a formidable foe, but it is not without its own problems. It can get 'Hole in the Head Disease'.
You could say that when Moses tried to reason with the ruler of Egypt, it may have appeared that Pharaoh had 'Hole in the Head Disease'. After the Lord had frogs come upon their beds and upon their heads, the magicians also were able to make frogs appear. But even the magicians were to be a testimony to God, as when the Lord sent lice ...the magicians tried to also, but could not, stating unto Pharaoh, "This is of God ..."
Frogs, lice, flies, diseased cattle, boils even upon the magicians, pestilence, hail, locusts, darkness, and death. When I read this, I thought, how much does it take for him to get the message ...how can anyone be that blind and so self-defeating? Well, it says Pharaoh suffered from hardness of heart. And I know that anger can really blind a person, and it can override other emotions ...even override our common reason. But, I think what we suffer from today is even worse!!
Isaiah 66:3...4, reads, "...they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not."
God used the magicians as a testimony, and He can use you ...but wouldn't it be better to be used as a positive example, not to be used ultimately by the one who leads us to accepting other ways that are not God's ways. We ignore the conspiracy of evil; the one that began with the attempted coup by the third, led by Lucifer. Another wild tale, you may think ...but freedom comes from understanding.
Part of the continuing problem is ...that many of you are as confident that you are right, as I am confident that you are not right. There always seems to be countless differences, all held firmly to. We may ask why this is. The main differences are where we get our information from, who our references are, and who we rely on as a respected authority. So, if I occasion to say one of you are not right, it is not out of disrespect. I do not claim that I am right. I submit to the Word of God as the truth, irregardless of how I may feel emotionally at any given time.
How can I say this? Simply, I believe in God ...and I believe He cares enough that He sent His Son, Jesus, not only to sacrifice His life for our sins ...but also to testify unto the Father. God has revealed to us who He is, and all we have to do is be brave and humble enough to read His Word.
